[Dispatch=Reporter Jung Tae-yoon] Singer and actor Lee Jun-young is enlisting in the Army as an active-duty soldier to fulfill his military service obligation.
Lee Jun-young is scheduled to enter the training center privately on the 21st without any separate official event. He also left a message for fans on Instagram along with a photo of his shaved head.
Through Billions, he left a brief message saying, "I'll come back healthy. See you in the winter of 2027. Merry Christmas in advance, Happy New Year X2."
Lee Jun-young debuted as member Jun of U-KISS in 2014. He has been active as both a singer and actor. Starting with the 2017 drama 'Buam-dong Revenge Club,' he began his full transition into acting.
Since then, he has taken on various genres including 'Mr. Temporary,' 'Please Don't Meet That Man,' 'Imitation,' 'D.P,' 'Mask Girl,' 'Weak Hero Class 2,' 'Totally Fooled,' and 'Wasteland.'
Recently, he stably portrayed a dual role as one person with two souls in JTBC's 'New Employee Director Kang,' drawing praise. The work also set its own highest viewership rating and concluded on a high note.
He has also finished filming tvN's new drama 'For Hands.' He will meet viewers through works during his military service period. 'For Hands' is set to air its first episode on the 29th of next month.
