[Dispatch=Myeong-ju Lee] Director Yeon Sang-ho is visiting the Toronto International Film Festival for the second consecutive year.

Distributor CJ ENM announced on the 21st that the film "Paradise Lost" (Director Yeon Sang-ho) has been invited to the Special Presentation section of the 51st Toronto International Film Festival.

Special Presentation is a flagship section of the Toronto International Film Festival that showcases new works by world-renowned directors. Films such as "Parasite" and "The Handmaiden" have been invited in the past.

This is the fourth time Director Yeon Sang-ho has been invited to the Toronto International Film Festival. The animated series "Hellbound," the drama "Hell," and "Face" were selected by Toronto.

He also set a record of submitting two commercial films to international film festivals in a single year. "Collective Creature" was invited to the Midnight Screening section of the 79th Cannes Film Festival.

"Paradise Lost" is a psychological thriller. It tells the story that unfolds when a son, whom a mother thought had been dead from an incident nine years ago, returns alive.

Kim Hyun-joo worked with Director Yeon Sang-ho once again following "Hell," "Jung-i," and "Seonsan." She plays the role of a confused mother after reuniting with her son.

Meanwhile, "Paradise Lost" will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival first. The domestic release is scheduled for October.
