[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Ah-jin] Shuhua of I-DLE is entering the Toronto International Film Festival with her debut lead role.

Cube Entertainment announced on the 22nd, "The film 'Happy and Pleasant Days' (directed by Feng Ai Fiona Lun), in which Shuhua stars, has been officially invited to the Special Presentation section of the 51st Toronto International Film Festival."

The Toronto International Film Festival is North America's largest film festival. It is scheduled to be held from September 10-20. Shuhua was invited to the section that introduces new works by globally renowned actors and directors.

She said, "I couldn't believe it when I heard the news," and "It's a great honor to move forward to the international stage with a good team from my first lead role."

She added, "I hope all those who watch the film will gain empathy and comfort through the story of Linzachi that I acted. I hope you will feel the sincerity that we put into this work."

'Happy and Pleasant Days' depicts the story of two sisters with completely different personalities experiencing changes in their peaceful daily lives after meeting a street cat. Shuhua plays the role of Linzachi, the bright and innocent youngest daughter.

Meanwhile, I-DLE will be performing at the music festival 'Lollapalooza' held in Chicago, USA on the 1st of next month.
