According to Spotify, "Standing Next to You," the title track from Jungkook's solo album 'GOLDEN,' surpassed 1.5 billion cumulative streams (as of the 27th).

Jungkook has achieved 1.5 billion streams for the second time in his career. He previously recorded the same milestone with the solo track "Seven." Despite being released in 2023, "Standing Next to You" continues to be loved by listeners.

The song conveys the message that love is deeper than anything else, and that he will stay by your side no matter what adversities come. It reinterprets old-school disco-funk sound in a modern way.

The track boasts high song completion. Rich brass instrument performances, bursting percussion, and Jungkook's groovy vocals blend together. Through this song, Jungkook solidified his position as a dance solo artist.

In particular, during a 2023 performance at Times Square TSX Entertainment in New York, he garnered attention with a complete performance utilizing a standing microphone, establishing the presence of a global pop star.

"Standing Next to You" debuted at No. 5 on the U.S. Billboard main song chart "Hot 100" (November 18, 2023), charting for a total of 19 weeks. This is the longest record among Jungkook's solo tracks.

On the UK Official Charts "Official Singles Top 100," it entered at No. 6 and charted for 11 weeks. It was selected as the "Most Streamed Song of the Year" at the American pop awards ceremony "2025 BMI Pop Awards."
