Dougeum·Vernon, Fulfilling Military Service Obligation…"We'll return healthy"

[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju] SEVENTEEN's Dogeum and Vernon are fulfilling their military service obligations.

Pledis Entertainment posted a notice titled "SEVENTEEN Dogeum, Vernon Military Service Obligation Notice" on the fan communication platform Weverse on the 27th.

Dogeum will enlist in the Army as an active-duty soldier on September 8. The agency said, "He plans to participate in all scheduled activities before enlistment without any issues."

There will be no separate event on the day of enlistment. The agency said, "The basic training entrance ceremony is an occasion where many soldiers and their families gather, so we ask that you refrain from visiting in person."

Vernon will begin alternative service starting the 20th of next month. The agency asked, "We ask that you refrain from visiting Vernon's alternative service workplace."

The agency explained, "While the two are unable to participate in SEVENTEEN schedules after beginning their service, we plan to meet Carats through content."

The agency also said, "We ask for your continued love and support so that Dogeum and Vernon can fulfill their military obligations and return in good health."

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN entered the military service period starting in 2024. Jeonghan was discharged last month. Wonwoo, Hoshi, and Woozi are currently fulfilling their military service obligations.
