[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju] HYBE smiled at the BTS effect.
HYBE disclosed its operating performance for the second quarter of this year (April–June) on a consolidated basis on the 28th. Revenue reached 1.45 trillion won, and operating profit achieved 170.9 billion won.
This is the company's record performance. It is the first time HYBE has exceeded 1 trillion won in quarterly revenue. Quarterly operating profit also surpassed 100 billion won for the first time.
The detailed results stand out. The concert segment recorded 647.7 billion won, and the music division recorded 326.8 billion won. The MD and licensing division posted 310.6 billion won.
BTS led the strong performance. They ranked No. 1 in U.S. CD and vinyl album sales with their regular fifth album "Arirang," released on March 20.
They were also active through the world tour of the same name. They are conducting 88 concerts across 23 countries and regions. Through "The City," they even created a new term, "BTS nomics."
Other artists completed new album activities. TXT, ENHYPEN, &TEAM, BOYNEXTDOOR, TWS, and CORTIS achieved million-seller status.
KATSEYE won three awards at the 2026 American Music Awards. Their new song "Animal" reached No. 4 on Spotify's "Daily Top Songs U.S." (as of the 24th).
The LUCKATZ activities (LE SSERAFIM, ILLIT, KATSEYE) were also successful. Their single "Iconic by Mistake" remained on Billboard's "Hot 100" for five consecutive weeks.
Concerts were also active. HYBE artists held a total of 119 concerts across 12 teams in the first half of this year. Over 200 concerts are scheduled for the second half.
