[Dispatch=Park Hye-jin Reporter] 'True Education' entered Netflix's top 10 most-watched series. It made it into the all-time top 10 most popular series (non-English).

'True Education' recorded 60.2 million total views (viewing hours divided by the total runtime of the work) eight weeks after release. It entered Netflix's all-time top 10 most popular series.

Among series made by Korea, it is the fourth record following 'Squid Game' Seasons 1, 2, and 3. Four of the 10 non-English series most watched by Netflix viewers are Korean works.

'True Education' maintained the global number one position for four weeks starting from the first week after release. In the second week, it dominated the top 10 in 91 countries. Even eight weeks later, it remains in the top 10 of the viewing rankings.

'True Education' is set with the establishment of a fictional government agency called the Teacher Rights Protection Bureau. It is a story about helping victims in the education field. It is based on a webtoon of the same name.

It showed the true face of the Korean education system. School violence, the decline of teacher authority, and parents' abuse of power—real-life subjects—were delivered with genre-driven pleasure. It provided powerful catharsis from the victims' perspective.
