According to the Korean Film Council's integrated box office system, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" (hereinafter "Spider-Man 4") attracted 688,420 viewers on the 29th.

It debuted at the No. 1 spot at the box office upon release. It surpassed the 10-million-viewer film "Avatar: The Way of Water" score (350,000 viewers) and "Frozen 2" first-day record (600,000 viewers).

It also beat previous installments. It surpassed "Spider-Man: Homecoming" (540,000 viewers), "Spider-Man: Far From Home" (670,000 viewers), and "Spider-Man: No Way Home" (630,000 viewers).

It appears the film will maintain dominance for some time. "Spider-Man 4" real-time reservation rate stands at 68.1% as of 8 a.m. on the 30th. 756,600 viewers pre-booked tickets.

"Spider-Man 4" is the fourth installment in the "Spider-Man" series. It depicts Peter Parker, forgotten by everyone, facing a new threat to protect those he cherishes.

Meanwhile, "Hope" came in second place with 87,942 viewers. "Minions & Monsters" followed with 21,655 viewers.
