[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju Reporter] Actors Ryu Joon-yeol and Seol Kyung-gu embark on a strange pursuit.

Netflix announced the release date of its new series 'Field Mouse' (Screenplay by Lee Jae-gon, Directed by Kim Hong-seon) on the 31st. "We have confirmed that 'Field Mouse' will be released on August 28," it stated.

'Field Mouse' is a work inspired by the Korean traditional tale 'Field Mouse That Ate Nails.' It tells the story of a man whose life has been entirely taken away by a field mouse as he pursues its identity.

The related poster has been unveiled. Mun Jae (played by Ryu Joon-yeol) gazes intently at something with a serious expression. Beside him, another face and a field mouse figure are spotted.

The text on the poster is also significant. It reads, "If I cannot prove it, I become a fake." It raises questions about hidden truth at the boundary between real and fake.

In the trailer, cracks in everyday life that befall reclusive writer Mun Jae are revealed. He learns of the field mouse's existence and ventures out into the world to reclaim his life.

Loan shark No Ja (played by Seol Kyung-gu) views Mun Jae's situation as "a f***ed up game where you have to find yourself." It heightens the mystery further.

The work is directed by Kim Hong-seon. He has previously demonstrated outstanding sensibility in genre works such as the dramas 'Tangeun' and 'Voice.' The screenplay is by writer Lee Jae-gon.

Meanwhile, 'Field Mouse' will meet viewers worldwide on the 28th of next month.
