[Dispatch=Lee Myung-joo] Can JTBC break through its corporate restructuring crisis with star content?

JTBC announced its drama and entertainment lineup on the 31st. Two works are coming in the second half of this year. The company plans to present at least two dramas next year as well.

The first work is 'Final Table'. It features chefs competing in a competition to select the best Korean chef, with Ahn Hyo-seop starring.

The follow-up drama has been decided. It is 'The Pearl of God'. It is a fantasy historical drama featuring Ahn Bo-hyun. Director Jung Dae-yoon of 'The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate' is taking on directing duties.

It drew attention even before its release. It was invited to the 9th Cannes International Series Festival (CANNESERIES). Ahn Bo-hyun and others visited Cannes as representatives.

Next year's lineup has also been released. Kim Hee-ae's 'Gold Digger' is coming. It is a story of a successful middle-aged woman who meets a younger man and they become suspicious of each other.

Jeon Ji-hyun's new work is also building anticipation. 'Human X Gumiho' will air in the first half of next year. In addition to Jeon Ji-hyun, Ji Chang-wook, Cha Joo-young, and Hwang In-yeop lent their efforts.

Entertainment programs are also returning after restructuring. 'Love War', 'Han Moon-chul's Black Box Review', 'Talk Power One 25 Hours', 'Divorce Reflection Camp', and 'Swindlers' will air.

Weekend entertainment programs return at the same time slots as before. 'Knowing Bros' airs Saturday at 9 p.m., and 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator' airs Sunday at 8:50 p.m.

Meanwhile, JTBC declared default last month after failing to repay securitized borrowings worth 20.6 billion won. It subsequently filed for corporate restructuring.

Ahead of the start of restructuring proceedings, the company applied for the Autonomous Restructuring Support Program (ARS). The ARS deadline was the 30th. The court extended it by one month.
