MBC-TV Friday-Saturday drama 'Married Woman Killer' (screenplay by Kim Eun Hee, directed by Yoon Jong Ho and Kim Jihoon) aired its first episode on the 31st of last month. The viewership rating for episode 1 was 7.4% national average (Nielsen Korea).

It captured viewers' attention. 'Kim Bu Jang,' this year's biggest box office hit, concluded on the 25th of last month, avoiding direct competition. Its successor 'Tycoon X Detective 2' is scheduled to premiere on the 7th.

'Married Woman Killer' drew attention as Gong Hyo Jin's return to an MBC drama in approximately 15 years. She plays Yu Bo Na, a 'one-shot one-kill' killer and working mom with a 4-year-old daughter and a husband.

In episode 1, Bo Na's double life was unveiled. She was infinitely affectionate in front of her family, but showed unusual aspects such as subduing a sexual assaulter by striking groceries at him.

The situation where she returned to the office after finishing parental leave was also depicted. From her first day, she took on client meeting duties. She assembled mysterious equipment and fired it at a man.

Near the end of the broadcast, a news alert appeared reporting a gunfire sniper incident and speculating the return of 'Kingfisher.' Gwon Tae Sung (played by Jun Won), Bo Na's husband, appeared to be struck with great shock.

Meanwhile, 'Married Woman Killer' is based on a webtoon of the same title. It airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 p.m.
