[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Ah-jin] HYBE's new girl group TWEED is making a surprise debut.

ABD, a newly established label under HYBE, announced on the 3rd that "TWEED will release their first mini album 'TUNE & PLAY' on the 24th."

The album title reflects the team's identity. It carries the meaning of coordinating different musical languages into one rhythm and completing joy within it.

TWEED is a seven-member girl group. All members are in their teens, consisting of Seohee, Seoyeon, Elena, Gia, Saki, Seia, and Lee Ha-nui. The members have diverse nationalities including Korean, American, British, and Japanese.

They released 'Introduction' photos and videos through their official SNS on the 2nd. They revealed a sensible atmosphere with cool and distinctive styling.

The video hinted at a unique musical color. Various languages including Korean, English, and French blended over a minimalist beat.

An exclusive preview called 'Playground' was also held at Layer Studio 11 in Mapo-gu, Seoul on the 1st and 2nd. They made an early impression on music fans before their debut.

They showcased the entire album's tracks. They performed refreshing choreography matched to easy-listening style songs. They heightened expectations with a highly polished stage.

Meanwhile, TWEED will release their debut album through various music streaming sites at 6 p.m. on the 24th.
