[Dispatch=Lee Myung-joo Reporter] A war hero has surpassed the spider man. The film "Odyssey" (directed by Christopher Nolan) has taken the top spot in advance ticket sales. According to the Korean Film Council's integrated movie ticketing system, "Odyssey" recorded a real-time advance sales rate of 40.5% as of 3 p.m. on the 3rd. 371,868 people have made advance bookings.

It has outpaced "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" (hereinafter "Spider-Man 4"). "Spider-Man 4" achieved a real-time advance sales rate of 39.8% during this period, taking second place.

"Odyssey" is a new film by director Nolan. It depicts the hero Odysseus (played by Matt Damon), who led the Trojan War to victory, navigating through trials of fate and returning home.

Director Nolan arrived in Korea four days ahead of the film's release. Hollywood actor Matt Damon and Charlize Theron (playing Calypso) also joined the Korean visit schedule.

They will attend a press conference and red carpet event, as well as filming for tvN's "You Quiz on the Block." They also had a schedule to watch professional baseball and experience fine dining.

Meanwhile, "Odyssey" is scheduled to open domestically on the 5th.
