aespa, Heading to 'Lollapalooza'... "First stage, intense live performance"

[Dispatch=Reporter Gu Min-ji] aespa heated up the United States with their first Lollapalooza stage.

aespa took the stage at the Allianz Stage of 'Lollapalooza Chicago' held at Grant Park in Chicago on the 3rd. They overwhelmed the venue with a setlist comprised of a total of 14 songs.

The members delivered hit songs including 'Black Mamba', 'Next Level', 'Armageddon', 'Supernova', and Whiplash.

Stage manners befitting a seventh year since debut and powerful energy stood out. In particular, they overwhelmed with band sessions and live performance. They completed a vibrant stage fitting the festival atmosphere.

'Switchblade' featured a joint stage with Ty Dolla $ign, who participated in the featuring. 'Lemonade' and 'WDA', 'Can't Help Myself', 'Shaking' and other tracks from the second album were also presented.

Ty Dolla $ign said, "It was meaningful to be able to take the Lollapalooza stage with aespa. Since I have watched aespa's growth so far, I am truly proud."

He added, "Seeing them fill such a big stage with their own energy, I was inspired as well. I want to congratulate aespa for showing a wonderful stage."

Local fans responded enthusiastically throughout the performance. 'Rich Man', 'Bubble', 'To the Girls', 'Hold On Tight' and others brought the heat to its peak. It was evaluated as a flawless debut performance.

aespa said, "It was an honor to stand on the Lollapalooza stage. Thanks to many fans singing along to the songs and cheering enthusiastically, we also enjoyed the stage energetically."

The members also urged expectations for their world tour stage. "We want to carry the good energy we received at Lollapalooza Chicago this time through to the world tour that will begin soon," they said with emphasis.

aespa will release the music video for 'Switchblade' featuring Ty Dolla $ign on the 4th at 1 p.m. An official said, "Please anticipate the perfect chemistry between the two artists."

Meanwhile, aespa will open their new world tour '2026-27 aespa Live Tour - SYNK : COMPLæXITY' at Seoul's Gocheok Sky Dome on the 7th and 8th. They will visit a total of 25 regions including North America, South America, and Europe.
