[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju Reporter] The Busan International Film Festival has unveiled a poster featuring audiences.
The Busan International Film Festival Secretariat opened the poster for the 31st Busan International Film Festival and the 21st Asia Contents & Film Market on the 7th. It captured audiences who visited the film festival last year.
The key motif is "multitude." Beyond viewers, it highlights them as the subject that completes the film festival. It conveys the message that the film festival is formed by the accumulation of audience experiences.
This poster was planned by Choi Soon-dae, art director of the Busan International Film Festival. Art Director Choi said, "It was always the presence of audiences who filled the seats that completed the film festival."
Regarding the planning intention, he explained, "The film festival becomes a film itself in every moment—from the moment audiences arrive at the venue, stay there, and wait for the film."
Meanwhile, this year's Busan International Film Festival will take place around the Busan Cinema Center from October 6 to 15.
