[Dispatch=Reporter Park Hye-jin] Singer Lim Young-woong shared his heartfelt feelings with fans on the occasion of his 10th anniversary. He wrote a letter to the fans who have been by his side from his unknown days to now.

Lim Young-woong posted a lengthy message on his official fan cafe on the 8th. "Ten years ago today, the word 'debut' actually felt quite unfamiliar to me," he began.

He reflected, "My beginning was simply releasing one or two songs and producing a few CDs—with no grand stage, no flashy promotions, no TV broadcasts."

He added, "I thought I wasn't ready enough to call myself a prepared singer," and candidly shared his feelings, saying "so that day (my debut) was just an ordinary day that didn't hold much significance for me."

Recalling his debut day, he said, "It was a small broadcast that no one would have known about. It wasn't the kind of stage where the singers I admired performed," but added "still, it was a truly grateful place."

He walked forward with the conviction that he would one day become the best singer. "With that one conviction, I fought with myself every day," he said, adding that "thanks to those who helped me, I was able to move forward little by little."

He recalled the people who became his first fans. "There were about twenty fans who did the work of a hundred. They always ran alongside me wherever I went. They shouted my unknown name until their voices were hoarse," he expressed affection.

Lim Young-woong said, "You treated me like a star and quietly filled my empty heart," and added "I will never forget that gratitude."

He conveyed, "I am realizing that each of your breaths—sweating in the hot air, blowing wind from the cold ground with numbed hands—each and every one of those breaths was the wind that brought me here."

He expressed gratitude to all members of Hero's Time (the fan club name). "Thank you so much for choosing me," he said, adding "I live every day realizing how much courage and love it is that you choose me among all the wonderful singers and countless names."

He continued, "Each and every one of you is my stage, my reason, and my today," and concluded "I will continue to remain by your side as a person who sings. I love you."

Meanwhile, Lim Young-woong will hold 'IM HERO-THE STADIUM 2' at Goyang Sports Complex in Gyeonggi Province on September 4-6.
