[Dispatch=Park Hye-jin Reporter] Singer and broadcaster Ha-ha has apologized for performing at a water festival held in a drought-affected area and decided to donate his entire performance fee.

On the 7th, 'Quan Entertainment' bowed its head, saying, "We offer our apologies to all who are suffering day and night to overcome the drought."

Ha-ha and Skull performed at the '2026 Miryang Super Festival' that day. The performance is a large-scale water festival. Miryang is currently a region suffering severe drought damage.

This summer saw record-breaking heat waves and drought overlapping. The agricultural water drought emergency response in Miryang City, Gyeongnam Province, reached the highest 'critical' stage. Criticism was raised over the water festival in a situation where concerns about agricultural water shortages were necessary.

Ha-ha's side explained, "We accepted a legal judgment that we had no choice but to fulfill contractual obligations according to an already-concluded contract relationship, and inevitably proceeded to perform."

It was unavoidable to proceed with the performance due to the contract. Instead, the entire performance fee will be donated to overcome the drought.

An official said, "We want to take part in overcoming the drought in Miryang and be of help and support to citizens even if only slightly," adding, "We will do our best so that citizens do not lose hope even amid difficulties."
