According to the Korean Film Council's integrated cinema ticketing system, "Odyssey" exceeded 2 million cumulative viewers as of 6:04 a.m. on the 10th. This came just 6 days after its release.

It also topped the box office on its opening weekend. The film drew 1.33 million viewers over the past weekend (July 7-9). It surpassed "Spider-Man: Brand New Day."

Long-term box office success is anticipated. "Odyssey" recorded a 63.5% advance booking rate as of that day. The actual audience rating on CGV Golden Egg Index also maintains 97%.

"Odyssey" tells the story of Odysseus (played by Matt Damon), the hero who led the Trojan War to victory, facing trials of fate as he journeys home.

Hollywood actor Matt Damon played the role of Odysseus. Anne Hathaway played his wife Penelope, and Tom Holland played his son Telemachus.

Meanwhile, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" came in second at the weekend box office. 1.26 million viewers watched it nationwide.
