According to drama industry officials, Director Ahn Pan-seok collapsed from a cerebral hemorrhage on the 12th, and his health deteriorated while he was recovering, leading to his death.

The genie TV drama 'Dating Expert' starring Choo Young-woo and Kim So-hyun became his final work. The production has completed filming and editing.

The drama side stated, "We will proceed with the funeral arrangements privately so that the bereaved family, who are in deep sorrow, can have a quiet moment to bid farewell to the deceased."

News of Director Ahn's cerebral hemorrhage was reported on the 31st of last month. Director Ahn's side stated at the time, "There is no issue with the October broadcast schedule."

Director Ahn Pan-seok joined MBC's Drama Division as a producer in 1987. He directed numerous hit dramas including 'The White Tower', 'My Love from the Star', 'Spring Night', and 'The Art of Negotiation'.

The deceased's funeral hall will be set up at Seoul National University Hospital's funeral parlor.
