JYP Entertainment announced on the 13th, "We have deeply recognized the gravity of the recent situation involving member Gunil and have discussed it with the artist."

A netizen claimed on the 11th to be Gunil's ex-girlfriend and made allegations against him. She alleged that Gunil cursed at fans. She also released a recording of their conversation as evidence.

JYP stated, "We have determined that it is difficult for Gunil to continue team activities and have decided to terminate his exclusive contract by mutual agreement. As of today, he has withdrawn and concluded his team activities."

Xdinary Heroes will continue team activities as a five-member group, excluding the leader. "We apologize for causing concern to our fans with this sudden news," the company said, adding, "We will support the members so they can focus stably on their music activities."

Meanwhile, Xdinary Heroes will hold their third fan meeting 'THE X-TOWN' at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul on the 18th to 20th of next month.
