[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Ah-Jin] ILLIT presented a Japanese hit song in Korean.

Belift Lab said on the 17th, "ILLIT released the Korean version of 'I Got Your Back' on various music streaming sites at midnight today."

'I Got Your Back' is the title track of the Japanese single album of the same name released last month. It is a rock genre track featuring refined guitar riffs and dynamic drum sounds.

The lyrics contain a warm message: "Don't forget, I'm always by your side." The cute choreography of pricking a finger and pointing to the head also stands out.

After its release, it drew great popularity in the local market. It reached No. 2 on Billboard Japan's comprehensive song chart 'Hot 100.' It was also used as the OST for the Japanese OTT Abema original drama 'Rules of Vacance.'

The Korean version contains ILLIT's signature bright and cheerful energy. Jisoo and Momoka, members of popular Japanese girl group Hana, featured on the Korean version following the original.

ILLIT said, "It's a song that contains our honest thoughts and feelings," and asked listeners to "pay attention to the lyrics that offer comfort, saying 'you are not alone.'"

They added, "Even though it's the same song, it had a different charm when sung in Korean. We hope you feel ILLIT's powerful rock sensibility."

Meanwhile, ILLIT will hold its world tour 'Press Start' at Hong Kong AsiaWorld Expo Hall 10 on the 22nd and 23rd.
