According to the Korean Film Council's integrated movie ticket system, 'Odyssey' drew 1,983,678 viewers during the holiday period (August 15-17). The cumulative audience count is 5,163,461.
It attracted an average of 600,000 to 700,000 viewers per day. On August 16, 720,610 people watched it. Maintaining its box office momentum, it recorded the highest audience numbers since its release.
'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' (Director Destin Daniel Cretton) also performed well. During the same period, 874,657 viewers watched it, securing second place. The cumulative count exceeded 7.54 million.
'Love's Ha-Chu-Ping: The Legend of the Whale Jewel' (Director Kim Su-hoon) ranked third at the box office and first among Korean films. It drew 184,053 viewers during the holiday period.
Meanwhile, 'Odyssey' maintains a 74.4% advance booking rate as of 8 a.m. on August 18. 518,874 tickets have been pre-booked.
