[Dispatch=Reporter Jung Tae-yoon] Band Hyukoh is unveiling a new song in six years. On the 18th, they are releasing a new single "Godspeed!" on major music streaming sites.

The new release is a song that unfolds the repetitive daily life and the helplessness that accumulates within it through honest and understated language. It tells a story of living again through the love that stayed by their side amid days entangled with a hamster-wheel-like routine and self-mockery.

Throughout the song, explicit lyrics such as 'f**king' continue. The emotion shifts to "Godspeed," which means good fortune. Additionally, string sounds that subtly seep in then surge explosively add a twist.

The cover artwork unfolds personal memories and experiences through visual language evoking body structure, blueprints, and diagrams. It is a work by artist Ahn Min-jeong, who has expanded personal stories into universal images.

Japanese actress Ando Sakura appeared in the music video. She is an actress recognized for her distinctive performances in numerous works including the films "Shoplifters" and "Monster." She added deeper immersion to the song.

The video captures moments of Ando Sakura living through a day, running a marathon and boarding the subway while cross-cutting between childhood and the present. It cinematically captures the moment passing through repeated periods of stagnation.

The new single is the first work opening a new chapter for Hyukoh. Starting with this, Hyukoh plans to sequentially present deeper and more solid music.
