U.S. outlet "Deadline" reported exclusively on the 18th (Korean time) that "Ma Dong-seok is joining Netflix film 'Extraction 3' starring Hemsworth."

Ma Dong-seok's name was added to the key casting lineup alongside Hollywood actors Pierce Brosnan, Joe Taslim, Chi Luis Peri, and Sienna Agudong.

The existing cast is also returning. Hemsworth, who plays the lead, returns in the role of Tyler Rake. Idris Elba and Golshifteh Farahani also appear.

Specific character details have not been revealed. However, given that Ma Dong-seok appeared in "Tygo," which shares the same universe, he is expected to play the same character.

Director Sam Hargrave is in charge of directing. David Weil wrote the screenplay, and the Russo Brothers participated in the story conception. Filming is currently underway in Australia.
