Distributor Plus M Entertainment announced on the 19th that "the film 'Still Brilliantly' (directed by Song Il-gon), starring Kim Hye-ja, will open in theaters in October."
'Still Brilliantly' tells the story of Soon-ok, who reunites with her best friend after 60 years, having shared the most brilliant moment of her life.
Kim Hye-ja takes on the role of Soon-ok, who cannot forget her special friendship with her friend. The veteran actress, marking her 65th year in acting this year, showcases her experience.
Cha Mi-kyung plays Jeong-im, Soon-ok's friend. She displays her characteristic realistic acting. Park Seo-kyung and Choi Ju-un portray their childhood selves.
Moon Sung-hyun was also cast in the role of young Doo-young. He is a person who becomes connected during the time when Soon-ok and Jeong-im share their friendship. Jo Sung-ha and Lee Se-young also appeared.
Director Song Il-gon is in charge of directing. Through films such as 'Spider Forest' and 'You Alone,' he has shown a directing style not bound by genre and form.
Meanwhile, 'Still Brilliantly' is scheduled to open in October.
