[Dispatch=Reporter Yi A-jin] Jennie of BLACKPINK has taken legal action against posts that maliciously edited photos and videos.

OA Entertainment stated on the 19th, "Recently, we have continuously confirmed unfounded defamation directed at Jennie and false information spreading, as well as malicious editing and manipulation of photos and videos across online communities and SNS."

The company added, "We take seriously infringements upon artist rights" and "We are collecting evidence regarding related posts and accounts in cooperation with professional legal representatives. We are also proceeding with legal action against serious cases of rights infringement."

In particular, the company warned against maliciously editing and reprocessing physical characteristics. It emphasized active response to the repeated distribution of certain photos and videos or the addition of insulting expressions and false information.

Jennie took the stage as a headliner at '2026 Summersonic' held at Zozo Marine Stadium in Tokyo, Japan on the 14th. Afterward, a video that appeared to show exposure of part of Jennie's body during the performance spread on SNS.

Since the video was posted on the 15th, it exceeded 12.5 million views in half a day. In fan videos recording the same scene, the exposure is not confirmed, and the possibility of AI manipulation has been raised. The original posting account is currently suspended.
