[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju Reporter] "Kind Uncle Tom" is set to meet domestic fans once again. His new film has decided on a Korea promotion.
Warner Bros. released a video related to the promotional tour for the film "Digger" (directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu) through SNS on the 19th (Korea time).
The "Digger" side will launch a promotional tour ahead of its October release. The tour will visit Seoul, London, Mexico City, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and other cities.
Hollywood star Tom Cruise is expected to participate in this Korea visit. It will be his first visit in a year since "Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning" last year, and his 13th visit overall.
Tom Cruise is a representative Korea-friendly star. He visited Korea a total of 12 times, from "Interview with the Vampire" (1994) to the final Mission: Impossible series.
In particular, if Tom Cruise's participation in the "Digger" tour is confirmed, it will mark five consecutive films with Korea visits. He will also rewrite his own record as the Hollywood actor with the most visits to Korea.
"Digger" is a black comedy. It follows oil tycoon Digger Rockwell (played by Tom Cruise) as he struggles to prevent the global crisis he caused.
Meanwhile, "Digger" will have its world premiere at the Royal Film Performance in the UK on the 22nd of next month. The North American release is scheduled for October 2.
