[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myung-ju] SEVENTEEN's Vernon is surprise-releasing a new song.

Pledis Entertainment announced on the 20th that Vernon's solo track "I'll Be Back," which he wrote and composed, will be released that afternoon at 6 p.m.

"I'll Be Back" is an electronic song that showcases pop sensibilities. It was previously unveiled at last month's "2026 Vernon THE 8-V8 Live" and garnered a favorable response from fans.

It contains his own musical color. He was directly involved in the composition. He incorporated sincere messages to CARAT (the fandom name) into the lyrical track.

Vernon has released numerous solo songs. In addition to "Mia," a track on SEVENTEEN unit V8's first mini album, he has presented "Shining Star" and "Black Eye."

He has also been actively engaged in creative work. He spearheaded the production of V8's first full album together with member THE 8. He has also collaborated with domestic and international artists.

Drawing on these activities, he became a Recording Academy voting member last year. Voting members participate in selecting winners of the American "Grammy Awards."

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN, to which Vernon belongs, announced last month that all members have renewed their contracts with their agency.
