[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju] Actors Moon Sang-min and Cynthia will portray a high teen romance.
Netflix released its casting lineup for the new series "Do Not Cross the Wall" (written by Lee Na-eun, directed by Lee Su-hyun) on the 20th. Moon Sang-min, Cynthia, Lee Min-jae, and Choi Hee-jin will appear.
"Do Not Cross the Wall" is set at a prestigious all-boys high school and all-girls high school separated by a wall. The work follows 19-year-old youths who discover first love in a setting where dating is prohibited.
Moon Sang-min takes on the role of Lee Chi-won, student body president of Jin-wol Boys High School. Chi-won is a model student trusted by everyone. He is a character with no shortcomings in academics, sports, and character.
Cynthia plays So-ran, student body president of Jin-wol Girls High School. She has a rival relationship with Chi-won, whom she has grown up with since childhood. She comes to feel an emotion toward him—whether it is competitive spirit or excitement.
Lee Min-jae plays Gong Su-ho, a student at Jin-wol Boys High School. He is a character who approaches So-ran for some reason. Choi Hee-jin plays Kim Liz, a transfer student and So-ran's roommate at Jin-wol Girls High School.
Director Lee Su-hyun will helm production. She has presented sensory romance in works such as "Secret Appreciation" and "That Man is a Black Dragon." Writer Lee Na-eun takes charge of the screenplay for "That Summer We."
An official stated, "Two creators who have portrayed the excitement and growth of youth will meet to depict memories of first love that anyone can relate to and captivate viewers."
Meanwhile, the release date for "Do Not Cross the Wall" has not yet been determined. It will be available on Netflix at a later date.
