BIGBANG, 'Big' Melon daily No. 1…iTunes worldwide No. 2 entry

BIGBANG released the digital single "BiiiG" on various music platforms on the 19th at 6 p.m. The song entered the No. 1 spot on Melon's "Top 100" within an hour of release.

That's not all. "BiiiG" topped the "Top 100" the same day. On the 20th, the following day, it rose to No. 1 on the daily chart and No. 1 on the latest release (4-week) chart, proving its music power.

The song also dominated other domestic charts. The track ranked No. 1 on Genie and Bugs real-time charts, No. 1 on Vibe's domestic rising chart, and No. 2 on Flo's chart.

The song also captivated overseas listeners. "BiiiG" reached No. 2 on iTunes Worldwide Songs Chart (as of the 19th). It entered the No. 1 position in Japan, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and the Philippines.

"BiiiG" is a high-energy hip-hop track featuring a grand beat and an addictive hook. Member G-Dragon participated in writing and composing, incorporating the team's musical color.

BIGBANG released the song on the occasion of their 20th debut anniversary (August 19th). The title was decided based on the English word "BIG," which means "enormous."

Meanwhile, BIGBANG will start their 20th-anniversary world tour "XX: COSMOS" beginning in Goyang on the 21st.
