The production company unveiled the casting lineup for the film "Firefly" (directed by Lee Joon-ik) on the 21st. It revealed that "Park Hae-il, Park Seo-joon, and Choi Dae-hoon have confirmed their appearances."
"Firefly" tells the story of a detective trying to escape the grip of guilt by association who searches for Hwayong-myeon while pursuing the testimony of a mysterious man.
Director Lee Joon-ik will helm the project. This director has presented characters enduring hardship through films including "The King's Man," "Dongju," "Assassination," and "The Fishery Book."
This work is also a period drama. It traces an unrevealed incident over 24 years, moving between 1974 under dictatorship and 1950 immediately after the Korean War broke out.

Park Seo-joon plays detective Jun-gyeong, bound by the shackles of guilt by association with his path to advancement blocked. He follows the bait thrown by Man-seop seeking results and approaches the truth.
