[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myeong-ju] Jisoo of BLACKPINK returns as a solo artist.
Her agency Blissoo released teasing posters, a countdown page, and teaser footage for Jisoo's new song "CLICK" on the 24th via SNS.
She announced her comeback through multiple pieces of content. The poster first featured a heart symbol and the new song title. Keywords were placed front and center instead of specific details.
On the countdown page, a mysterious amusement park was spotted. Time appeared to be counting down to 1 p.m. on the 4th of next month, seemingly hinting at the comeback date.
The teaser footage is also meaningful. After capturing an amusement park ticket, unusual character dolls appeared in succession. It gave a sense of a dark mood.
It has been approximately one year and seven months since Jisoo released a solo track. Jisoo released her second solo album "Amortage" last year. She showed a different side compared to her previous work.
Global listeners cheered for her transformation. "Amortage" ranked at No. 1 on the iTunes 'Top Album' chart in 45 regions and countries worldwide.
The title track "Earthquake" was also a hit. It reached No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 'World Digital Song Sales' chart. The music video surpassed 100 million views on YouTube.
Meanwhile, information related to Jisoo's comeback will be released sequentially.
