[Dispatch=Lee Myung-joo Reporter] BTS has added another record in France.
The French record association (SNEP) recently awarded Gold certification (in the singles category) to "SWIM," the title track of BTS' fifth regular album "ARIRANG."
Gold is one of the certification criteria. Certification is given to songs that surpass 15 million cumulative streams when calculated from streaming, downloads, and physical album sales.
This is the 10th time they have received certification from SNEP. They hold Gold certifications for songs including "Dynamite," "Butter," and "Boy With Luv."
Notably, "SWIM" obtained certification approximately five months after its release. This is the second fastest pace, following "Dynamite," which received Gold certification three months after its release.
The album's performance also stands out. "ARIRANG" received Gold certification six days after its release. It added Platinum certification after selling over 100,000 copies in one month.
Meanwhile, BTS is carrying out the world tour "ARIRANG." They will continue performances at Soldier Field in Chicago on the 27th and 28th.
