Netflix announced the production of the series 'Grandma' on the 26th. It revealed the casting lineup. Lee Jung-eun, Kim Mu-yeol, Junho, Choi Sung-eun, and Bae Na-ra will work together.
'Grandma' is a noir action series. It tells the story of 'Jeong Suk-ja', a woman who picks up a gun for revenge for her grandson, and 'Seo Yeon-woo', who awakens her hunting instinct, taking revenge against the crime organization Cheong Hwa Group.
The setting follows a woman in her 70s living an ordinary life seeking revenge for her grandson. Director Lee Gwon of 'Killers' Shopping Mall' is directing. It has announced stylish action.
Lee Jung-eun plays Jeong Suk-ja, who picks up a gun for revenge for her grandson. When the grandson she raised alone faces a matter of life and death from an ambush, her life changes 180 degrees. She picks up the gun she held in her childhood again and sets out for revenge.
Kim Mu-yeol plays Seo Yeon-woo, the planner of this revenge. He is the character who reveals to Jeong Suk-ja the connection between her grandson's accident and Cheong Hwa Group, awakening her hunting instinct.
