TXT, Japan Single Oricon No. 1... "Debut First Weekly Ranking Top"

[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myung-ju] TXT captivated Japan. The group topped major charts with a new song.

According to the latest Japan Oricon chart count (as of the 31st), TXT claimed the No. 1 spot on the "Weekly Digital Single Ranking" with their fifth single "Setsuna Hanabi."

This marks the first time the group has reached the top of that chart since their local debut. First-week downloads totaled 8,410, significantly surpassing their previous personal record of 5,682.

"Setsuna Hanabi" also ranked No. 2 on both the "Weekly Combined Single Ranking" and "Weekly Single Ranking." The track reached No. 6 on the "Weekly Streaming Ranking," demonstrating strong popularity.

The group also achieved notable results on Billboard Japan. The song secured the No. 1 spot on "Hot 100" (for the week of the 17th–23rd). This is the first time among all songs TXT has released to date.

"Setsuna Hanabi" also climbed to No. 2 on "Top Single Sales" and No. 22 on "Streaming Songs." On the Japanese music site LINE MUSIC's weekly song chart, it ranked No. 2 (for the 19th–25th).

The song is a track that compares an unavoidable moment of parting to fireworks on a midsummer night heading toward its end. Raw texture and the members' delicate emotional expression harmonized.

Meanwhile, TXT's album track "Silence" has been selected as the theme song for the film "Okiharu-kun no Namida wo Koroshite."
