[Dispatch=Park Hye-jin Reporter] Actor Hong Mingi's agency has filed a complaint against his ex-partner A on four charges including forgery of private documents and attempted extortion.
His agency Fable Company stated on the 27th, "The actor filed complaints with investigative authorities on the 21st and 24th regarding a series of A's actions."
The charges announced by the agency include forgery of private documents, attempted extortion, violation of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (defamation), and violation of the Act on Punishment of Stalking Crimes, among others.
On the 19th, A claimed that Mingi encouraged dating violence and abortion termination. She cited conversations with Mingi, medical records, and ultrasound photos as evidence. Mingi's side immediately denied this as "false claims."
Subsequently, both sides engaged in a dispute over the truth. Denials and rebuttals continued. On the 23rd, Mingi's side also explained the situation. On that day, it was reported that A visited Mingi's house in the early morning hours and caused a disturbance.
A's older brother said, "My sister was transferred to the emergency room and remained unconscious in the intensive care unit until the early morning of the 25th," and "claims raised by some media are not factual."
In response, Mingi's side stated, "Around 2 a.m. on the 23rd, A came to the Itaewon house again, ringing the doorbell, crying, and cursing. Police responded." They confirmed that A did indeed visit Mingi's house again. "Police requested joint response with 119, and A was eventually transported by ambulance. We wish to clarify the facts," they said.
The agency stated, "Police also issued an order under the Act on Punishment of Stalking Crimes prohibiting A from approaching within 100 meters and from making contact via electronic communication on that day."
Finally, they said, "Through investigation, the substantive truth and legal responsibility will be clearly revealed," and requested that "until the truth is revealed through objective investigation by investigative authorities, please refrain from indiscriminately expanding and reproducing unconfirmed claims."
