[Dispatch=Yuha Reporter] Director Lee Chang-dong's new film "A Possible Love" is receiving invitations from world-renowned film festivals.

Netflix announced on the 27th that "'A Possible Love' has been officially invited to the 'Zabaltegi-Tabakalera' section of the 74th San Sebastián International Film Festival, the 'Gala Premiere' section of the 22nd Zurich Film Festival, and the Special Presentation section of the 45th Vancouver International Film Festival."

The film has previously been selected for the competition section of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, the competition section of the 51st Toronto International Film Festival, and the Main Slate section of the 64th New York Film Festival. Through this, the film meets global audiences at a total of six international film festivals.

The San Sebastián International Film Festival is the oldest and most prestigious film festival in the Spanish-speaking world. 'Zabaltegi-Tabakalera' is an official competition section that introduces works presenting open and bold cinematic visions.

Director Lee Chang-dong has a deep connection with the festival. He was first invited to the festival in 2010 with "Poetry." In 2022, he was selected in the 'Zabaltegi-Tabakalera' section with the short film "Heartbeat."

The Zurich Film Festival's 'Gala Premiere' and the Vancouver International Film Festival's 'Special Presentation' are also notable sections that introduce acclaimed works. "A Possible Love" is already attracting attention from the global film industry before its release.

"A Possible Love" tells the story of two couples—a laid-off worker and his wife, and a documentary director and her husband—meeting and confronting each other's different lives and hidden desires. It is Director Lee Chang-dong's new work in eight years.

"A Possible Love" opens in theaters next month on the 23rd. It will be released on Netflix on November 6th.
