'Your Honor,' Korean Netflix No. 1… Director "Work from 2 years ago, tears streaming down"

'Your Honor' has been available on Netflix since the 20th. Seven days after its release, on the 26th, it debuted at No. 1 on 'Today's Top 10 Series in Korea.'

It then topped the chart for two consecutive days. The work maintained its No. 1 position on the 27th chart. It remained at the top, surpassing Netflix original content.

This is an achievement made two years after the drama concluded. 'Your Honor' aired on ENA in August 2024. Reruns were only available through Genie TV.

Due to a somewhat high entry barrier, it started with viewership ratings in the 1% range. However, backed by the strong performances of Son Hyun-joo, Kim Myung-min, Kim Do-hoon, and Huh Nam-joon, it surged to 6%.

Director Yoo Jong-sun shared his thoughts on 'Your Honor's' reversal. "I think this is the first time Top 10 has been this thrilling since 'Music Bank Top 10,'" he confessed.

He continued, "Isn't this the greatest honor a drama that aired two years ago could experience? Tears streaming down." He added, "I express my deep gratitude to the actors, writer, and staff."

Meanwhile, 'Your Honor' is a thriller drama. It tells the story of a judge covering up his son's murder and a crime organization boss pursuing his son's killer confronting each other.
