[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myung-ju] Chaeryeong of ITZY is challenging herself as a solo artist.

JYP Entertainment revealed on the 27th to Dispatch, "It is true that Chaeryeong is making her solo debut. We are preparing an album targeting a November release."

She is embarking on her solo career approximately 7 years and 9 months after the group's debut. Chaeryeong will be the third member of the team to release a solo debut album, following members Yeji and Yuna.

She has been active as ITZY's main dancer. She received recognition for elevating the completeness of ITZY's performances through her soft and fluid dance lines.

Last March, she caused a viral resurgence of the song commonly known as "Datsun Nono" (nicknamed 'That's a No No'). Through her powerful performances, she laid the groundwork for a comeback.

Meanwhile, ITZY, which Chaeryeong is part of, is currently conducting its third world tour 'Tunnel Vision'. The group will take the stage at Taipei Arena on the 5th of next month.
