This is Istanbul, Turkey. A cheer from 50,000 people erupted. All eyes were on one person.

From Seoul to Istanbul, approximately 7,950 kilometers. Flight time alone is a full 12 hours. A distant foreign land. Yet such distance could not dampen the heat for the "queen."

Sunmi took the stage at 'Festival Park Yenikapi' on the 16th (Korea time). She completed the climax of the 'Istanbul Festival'.

Dispatch accompanied her. From the backstage filled with excitement, to the heated stage, and meetings with Miyanes (the fandom name) met locally. We captured every moment of Sunmi in the frame.

This year's 'Istanbul Festival' was especially meaningful. To commemorate Liberation Day, a 'Korea Festival' section linking the cultures of both nations was established for the first time. Sunmi was the representative Korean artist.

Four hours before the performance began, the venue itself was a festival. Fans waited for Sunmi while experiencing K-culture. Pickets and slogans bearing Sunmi's name fluttered everywhere.

"I've been a Sunmi fan since I was 11. I came to like her after hearing 'Rewind'. Sunmi is top-tier in skill, but her heart is so warm. I'm moved every time by her kindness toward fans. Thank you for coming." (Odessa, 19)

"I became a fan after hearing 'Gashina' in 2018. 24 hours isn't enough, and 'Purple Night' is my favorite song. I've even learned some Korean because I want to understand everything Sunmi says." (Ayrul, 20)

She conducted interviews with local media.

And filmed reels for the fans.

She even prepared 'In My Bag' content, making every second count.
