[Dispatch=Reporter Chung Tae-yoon] The film 'Hope' (Director Na Hong-jin) has confirmed promotions in Vietnam and North America.
'Hope' is set to open in Vietnam on the 4th of next month. Local promotions will be held from the 1st to 2nd. Director Na Hong-jin and actors Hwang Jeong-min, Cho In-sung, and Jongho Yeon will visit Vietnam in person.
They plan to participate in various official schedules including press conferences, media interviews, premiere red carpet, and meet and greet, and deliver in-depth stories about the film.
On the 9th of next month, it is set for North American release. From the 7th to the 15th, they will visit major North American cities including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Austin, and San Francisco.
Director Na Hong-jin, Cho In-sung, and Jongho Yeon will join. They plan to respond to the strong interest in 'Hope' in North America through film screenings and Q&A sessions.
Invitations from world-renowned film festivals continue to come in. Previously, it was invited to the 79th Cannes Film Festival, the 25th New York Asian Film Festival, the 51st Toronto International Film Festival, and the 74th San Sebastián International Film Festival.
It has also been selected for the Panorama section of the 31st Busan International Film Festival, which runs from October 6th to 15th. It has also been invited to the Fantasy Filmfest, Germany's largest genre film festival.
'Hope' is a science fiction film. It depicts the story that unfolds when Beom-seok, the head of Hopo Port Branch Office located in the Demilitarized Zone, hears from local youth that a tiger has appeared.
