[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myung-ju] Rookie girl group TUIDE has achieved the best performance among female artists who debuted this year.
According to Hanteo Chart, TUIDE recorded cumulative sales of 112,282 copies over the past week with their mini-album first edition "TUNE & PLAY."
This figure corresponds to 10th place in the all-time girl group debut album first-week sales rankings. They have also achieved the highest record among rookie girl groups this year.
The upward trend on the music charts is also noteworthy. Following the title track "SUN KISS" music show stage performance, the group gained presence on major music platforms.
The track achieved 5th place on Apple Music's "Today's Top 100: South Korea," 6th place on YouTube's "Trending Music," and 24th place on Spotify's "Daily Top Song."
The response to the music video has also been enthusiastic. The "SUN KISS" music video ranked 1st on YouTube's "Daily Popular Music Video" Korea chart (as of the 27th). In just six days after its release, it surpassed 11 million cumulative views. It also charted at 15th place on YouTube's Global Music Video chart (as of the 28th).
The B-sides are also popular. On the debut album's release date, all tracks charted on Melon's "Hot 100," and subsequently appeared on Apple Music's "Today's Top 100: South Korea."
Meanwhile, TUIDE is a seven-member girl group first introduced by Hive label ABD. They attempted "Soultronic," a combination of "Soul" and "Electronic."
