[Dispatch=Reporter Kim Ji-ho] Netflix is producing a new series 'Maderesa'. Actors Nana, Kim Dan, and Jung Gun-joo have been cast, presenting a crime thriller.

'Maderesa' is a crime thriller drama centered on 'Maderesa', a cold-blooded criminal psychologist and professor. The story follows him tracking unsolved murder cases and uncovering long-hidden truths.

Nana transforms into Maderesa. She will delve into unsolved murder cases while carrying past trauma. She will simultaneously express both the intense side of a character devoid of blood and tears, and complex inner emotions.

Kim Dan takes on the role of Park Seol, a teaching assistant who hides secrets behind a pure smile. Park Seol is a character who seeks Maderesa's attention and helps with case investigations. Kim Dan is expected to convincingly portray the suppressed emotions and unpredictable aspects within Park Seol's inner world.

Jung Gun-joo takes on the role of Yoo A-ram. Yoo A-ram is Maderesa's longtime friend and prosecutor. She is wary of Park Seol, who hovers around Maderesa. Jung Gun-joo plans to naturally express subtle emotional lines and add depth to the relationships between characters.

'Maderesa' is directed by director Jang Young-woo of 'Queen of Tears'. Writers Kwon So-ra and Seo Jae-won co-write. The two, a married couple of writers, have written scripts for 'The Guest', 'Unsalvageable', and 'Donggung'.
