[Dispatch=Yuha Reporter] Los Angeles has proclaimed "BTS Week" to commemorate BTS's performances.

BTS will hold their world tour "Arirang" at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles on September 1-2 and 5-6 (local time). They are returning to the venue for the first time in approximately 4 years and 9 months.

Los Angeles has designated September 1-8 as "BTS Week" to mark the occasion. On the first day, City Hall will be lit in red, the key color of "Arirang." The lighting carries meanings of welcome and friendship toward BTS and the audience.

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass held an official proclamation ceremony on August 31. She stated, "The proclamation of 'BTS Week' is rooted in the belief that art and culture have the power to enhance mutual understanding and connect communities as one."

She added, "BTS has greatly contributed to global culture. We are proud to honor their remarkable achievements and celebrate their special connection with Los Angeles together with people around the world."

The local tourism board also welcomed BTS's return. Through "BTS Week," they look forward to reflecting on the special bond between BTS and Los Angeles, and to people directly experiencing the city's charm.

The Los Angeles City Council also highlighted BTS's influence. "Since their debut in 2013, BTS has established itself as one of the most influential artists representing the current generation," it noted.
