[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myeong-ju] Comedian Kim Shin-young is temporarily stepping down from the radio program she has hosted for 14 years.

Kim Shin-young announced on the broadcast of MBC FM4U "It's Kim Shin-young's Noon Hope Song" (hereafter "Noon Hope Song") aired on the 31st of last month that she would "be taking a three-month break."

It has been 14 years since she took over hosting the program. Kim Shin-young said, "I started at age 30 and it's been 14 years," and "I thought about how to design and build my life."

She is putting down the microphone for a while to prepare for a second chapter in life. "I started my own company, but I couldn't even keep meeting times. (So) I made the decision," she added.

Kim Shin-young also said, "(There are no health issues, but) I will take care of my health again," and promised, "I will strengthen the company and reorganize myself before returning."

"Noon Hope Song" is one of the longest-running radio programs, having started in 1971 and continued for 55 years. Kim Shin-young has held the DJ position since the 2012 restructuring.
