[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myung-joo] BJ Gwajuseeyeon (25, real name In Se-yeon) is under police investigation on suspicion of administering psychoactive drugs.

The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul filed charges against Gwajuseeyeon and her boyfriend Kay (36, real name Park Joong-kyou) on the 30th of last month for violation of the Narcotics Control Act (psychoactive substances).

The two are suspected of administering zolpidem, a psychoactive drug, in June. Evidence of ingestion was confirmed during the process when Gwajuseeyeon was taken to the hospital.

Gwajuseeyeon made a statement directly after the filing of charges became known. In a live broadcast on the 1st, she explained, "Something happened between me and my oppa, so I took my oppa's medicine."

Regarding suspicions that she bleached her hair to avoid police investigation, she said, "I was investigated when I had black hair," and "I bleached my hair after the investigation ended."

She also displayed on the broadcast screen the message, "I didn't do drugs. I didn't get a substitute prescription. I was investigated before bleaching. I apologize for the concern," denying the allegations.

Meanwhile, Gwajuseeyeon is a BJ who has been streaming on the internet since 2019. In 2024, she was spotted on an American street with Hybe Chairman Bang Si-hyuk and became a topic of discussion.
