[Dispatch=Park Hye-jin Reporter] Actor Jung Il-woo has lent his support to recovery efforts from the major floods in Nepal.

Good Neighbors, a child rights-focused NGO, announced on the 2nd that "Actor Jung Il-woo has delivered a donation to help residents and children in the flood-affected areas of Nepal."

The donation will be used for emergency relief operations underway in the flood-affected areas of Nepal, including Nuwakot and Gorkha. It will support the provision of necessary food, daily necessities, and hygiene products, as well as psychological support.

Jung Il-woo said, "I wanted to be of help, however small, to the residents and children affected by the sudden flooding," and "I sincerely hope that the affected areas recover soon and can return to peaceful daily life."

Jeon Mi-sun, Secretary General of Good Neighbors, said, "I am grateful to Actor Jung Il-woo for sharing a warm heart with the residents affected by the major Nepal floods who lost their livelihoods in an instant," and "We will do our best to ensure that necessary aid reaches them and daily life can be restored."

Since meeting local children and residents through filming the Madagascar episode of KBS-TV's "Love Across the Sea" in July, Jung Il-woo has been engaging in sharing activities together with Good Neighbors. He has also made a donation of his narration talents.

Through this donation, he has been registered to "The Neighbors Club," a special member meeting of Good Neighbors. It is a gathering of members who annually sponsor 10 million won or more and continue special sharing activities.
