KBS announced the lineup for a new entertainment program on the 2nd. An official stated, "'Unemployed Lee Sedol' has confirmed its first broadcast for October."

'Unemployed Lee Sedol' is a new entertainment show planned to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the match against 'AlphaGo,' an artificial intelligence (AI) Go program developed by Google DeepMind.

Lee Sedol is participating. He is a professional Go player who won one game against AlphaGo in 2016. The show captures the process of him putting down the Go board and stepping into the world of work.

A related poster has been released. Lee Sedol is shown hanging on the outer wall of a high-rise building cleaning windows. He was also spotted riding a scooter heading somewhere.

He previously made a surprise appearance at Jamsil Baseball Stadium on the 27th of last month. After throwing the ceremonial pitch, he reappeared carrying a heavy bag of beer. He went through various parts of the stands in the spectator area.
