[Dispatch=Park Hye-jin Reporter] Singer IU is making a surprise announcement of a new song after a year.

IU revealed a digital single release teaser on her SNS story on the 4th. She will release a new song at 6 p.m. on the 10th.

The music inserted in the teaser is identical to the music that appeared in the '별님 - 제 소원을 들어주세요' video that IU publicly released on her official YouTube channel last month.

At the end of the teaser, it read '목적지: 미지의 행성' (Destination : UNKNOWN PLANET). It hinted at mysterious music.

IU previously unveiled the digital single 'Bye, Summer' on September 10 last year. She is making a surprise announcement of a new song after a year.

Meanwhile, IU postponed the Goyang Stadium concert scheduled for September and her regular 6th album schedule in July due to symptoms of her chronic condition, patulous eustachian tube.
