[Dispatch=Reporter Tae-yun Jung] THE BOYZ's Q (real name Ji Chang-min) is taking a new leap forward as an actor.
Pitch Company stated on the 4th, "We are pleased to embark on a new beginning with Ji Chang-min, who has demonstrated his unique color and solid capabilities. We will be a reliable partner so he can fully realize his potential."
He has received much love from both domestic and global fans with his powerful performances and distinctive vocal tone. Ji Chang-min, rather than as Q, is beginning full-fledged acting activities under his real name.
Previously, he appeared in the film "Apartment: The World of Ripley," signaling his potential as an actor. Recently, he was cast in the film "Ak-gu: The Secret of the Moon's Shadow" (tentative title).
The work is a horror film. It depicts the story of six same-aged friends in their 27s who embark on a camping trip to verify rumors surrounding a pond deep in the forest, only to become embroiled in strange phenomena.
Ji Chang-min takes on the role of "Tae-yeop," a rational and reasonable character who leads the story from the center of the narrative. Following the news of his film appearance, he will also sign an exclusive contract and showcase a new side of himself.
Meanwhile, Pitch Company has Jeon Ji-hyun and Kim So-hyun under its roster.
